After decades of frustrating shopping experiences at high-street outlets, where staff appeared to know little about the hair and beauty products they were selling and paying extortionate product prices, Latoya believed in a better way of shopping. Boosted by the onset of on-line tutorials and the rise in specialised businesses, the idea was born to create a platform on television…..Frizzle!
Latoya, an economic entrepreneur, together with former BBC Chief Creative Officer, Pat Younge, they launched a TV pilot in November 2013, hence The New Way to Shop was created.
We don’t want people to stop buying from retail outlets that they are used to, instead we just want to give an alternative to the shopping experience. We know that our audiences enjoy watching television and enjoy tutorials on the internet so Frizzle combines both experiences into a dynamic shopping experience…
Since Frizzle has been aired on BEN Television and online ( Sky Channel 182), Frizzle has taken orders from as far as Malawi and across Europe and the UK. In particular, Frizzle has benefited those shoppers that live remotely from shopping outlets.
There are already plans to roll the Frizzle franchise out globally with syndication already negotiated with a few African countries. Hence, a real opportunity for businesses Black, White, Asian and Chinese to sell their products at a bargain price via television and online to very receptive audiences. It doesn’t matter where people are in the world, everyone loves a bargain! Frizzle is the ideal vehicle for the smarter, more money conscious shopper with proven spending power on hair and beauty products.
